the RAIDERS ;;
An Indiana Jones themed roleplay.
Everyone's favorite archaeologist, Indiana Jones in on yet another one of his many adventures. His loyal friend and the one who gives Indy much of his advice, Marcus Brody has tagged along to make sure his friend doesn't manage to get himself killed this time. Sure, he's been dragged by a truck and been thrown into a pit of snakes and even been chased by a boulder, Brody has a strange feeling this adventure might be the one that kills them both. It isn't long until ex-flame Marion Ravenwood receives an eerie letter written from an unknown location." We have been kidnapped. Neither of us has been harmed, but if help doesn't come we'll be dead within a week or two.This is my last piece of paper, so if you do not get a reply back that is the reason why. I should have listened to him, I swear sometimes if he wasn't there I don't know where'd I'd be right now! He told me that he had a strange feeling about this, even more so then when I told him I was going after the Ark of the Covenant. I need your help, if we aren't found I'm not sure how long we might last. Please, I'm in desperate need of assistance. "
Stuffing the letter into her pocket, Marion Ravenwood sends a desperate S.O.S to any and everyone she knows, writing notes and posting them all over the town without any solid evidence as to who this person was, and what they wanted she didn't want to chance it. Using her wits, Marion Ravenwood catches a ride to the home of Dr. Henry Jones Jr, or Indiana as you might know him as. After several knocks at the door, there is no response and Marion begins to worry. Driving past the university he teaches at, there is no sign of him and she finds his office has been raided, destroyed, no trace of him being there at all. Fear starts to set, she has no clue as to where Indy might be. She is confused, where is he? Is he in danger? And, who told Indy not to go in search of whatever he was after?.
After a few long days, Marion gets a letter from Austrian Dr. Elsa Schneider, a well respected museum curator who also, like Jones, is an archaeologist. She claims to have known Indiana, perhaps dated him for a while before leaving for Germany. Putting their differences aside, Elsa and Marion join the search for the world's most famous archaeologist and his unknown partner. Even Russian officer Iriana Spalko has joined the search, some of Indy's past enemies have also came to search for the one they battled with in the past.
The only question is, will they be able to find him before it's too late?
