History: Justin was born to parents Mary and Joe Richards on February sixth nineteen-eighty in Helena, Montana. He grew up on a large ranch that his parents owned, doing chores and going to school and normal kid's stuff. He played football and baseball throughout his high school years, en-route to graduating from school and entering the Marines shortly afterwards. After leaving boot camp he was stationed on a base in Germany, doing tedious tasks that he thought were not needed. He left the Marines after four years of sitting around and doing nothing, returning back to his roots of Montana.
He worked on the same ranch that he grew up on, taking care of the animals and his parents. Shortly before his twenty-eighth birthday he had received a phone call. The phone call said that he was wanted to be a test subject for some new medicine or something like that. He flew out to the city of Emperial in order to participate in it, mainly because he needed the money. When he walked out of the terminal, he spotted someone holding up a sign with his name on it. Naturally he walked towards the person and got into his car.
He was dropped off at a medical facility, as he walked in he had a bad feeling about going through with this. The receptionist greeted him warmly, before showing him to a room with a metal table. She had him sit down on the table, as a doctor came on in and began to ask him questions. He answered them all truthfully as possible as the doctor got the needle ready for the shot. He then gave him the shot, causing him to kinda go loopy at first. The results weren't as the doctor had hoped they would be, since Justin still seemed like a regular man.
The doctor told him that he needed to stay at this building, at least until the results came in. He was shown to his room and monitored by some security cameras on the walls. A week or so later his head began to throb like crazy, the doctor did nothing when Justin told him of this saying it was just one of a few side effects h may feel. Within a few days after the shot his powers began to manifest, his vision and reflexes improving significantly with his skin and bones growing harder. One day he woke up in a cab and was just dropped off on a random street corner, his only possessions seemed to be a very large black duffel bag.
He took the duffel bag into a near by alley, and opened it. Inside the bag he found an assortment of knives, a couple of pistols, and a note. The note simply said, "Good or Evil?" He was a little perplexed by this, simply because he had no idea what the hell was going on. As he was taking the out of the duffel bag, putting them on his person, he noticed that his passport was missing and that really wasn't good since he couldn't leave the city now.
As he wandered the city, he saw its many horrors. From people getting beaten up or blown up or even caught in the crossfire of a hero and villain fighting. He stopped to take a look at a convenient store that was getting rob, and looked for that piece of paper again. He eyed at the note once again, staring at it for a minute or so. He finally crumpled it up, tossing it onto the street. He quickly walked into the store startling the two guys holding the place up. After a short and pointless fight with them, he chained them up for the police to come by and get them. He walked way from the scene as a hero, thus how is tale begins.
Sample: Rain fell hard from the sky, every droplet seemingly falling on Justin's head and face. He stood and watched as the store across the street from him was being robbed. He leaned up against a nearby lamp post, the light shinning down on him as the rain continued to fall. He slowly moved his hand into his left pocket, pulling out a piece of paper. He looked at the paper, and then at through the store window at the robbery. Once more he looked at the piece of paper, and then the store window again.
He crumpled up the piece of paper, throwing it into the wet street, as he walked towards the store's door. he slowly swung the door open, as a tiny bell sound rang signaling it opening. He walked over towards the soda, the two would-be robbers keeping their guns on him. They shouted at him to get down or up against a wall, he simply continued to walk towards the fridge like object. A crack could be heard through the store, as one of the would-be robbers fired a shot at Justin's back. He simply turned his body to the left avoiding the shot.
He looked over at them smirking, before another shot could be heard. This one actually hitting him on his left arm. The slug fell to the floor, leaving a hole in the sleeve but no wound. The two guys were beside themselves at this point, as Justin still smirked at them.
"Now that wasn't very nice," he said reaching for some knives in his back left pocket.
He pulled the knives out, and flung one at a metal surface on the roof. The knife ricocheted off of it, and was lodged in the left foot of the one who shot at him the first time. He flung another three knives at various metal surfaces, pinning both of their feet to the floor. As the two robbers stood there, riffling in pain, he moved over to grab a chain and tied the both of them up. He collected his knives and began to leave before the owner spoke to him.
"Thank you, you are a hero," he said.
"I'm no hero, just someone trying to find his way and do the right thing," Justin replied leaving the scene behind.
