History: Rae doesn't know much about where she came from. All she knows is that she grew up in a city outside of Talledega, Alabama and that her parents wanted to name her Rebecca so the owner of the orphanage, Abigail Mae Addams, kept the childs name Rebecca, however Rae doesn't like the name and shortened it to Rae.
Rae saw most of the children come and go. Rae was a handful as a child and was always getting into trouble climing trees and jumping down multiple stairs. She had tons of energy and most new parents didn't know how to handle that so they went for tamer children. As Rae got older she was simply ignored because she was not a baby and people wanted babies and not full grown teenagers.
Rae signed up for the project because she didn't know what else to do. She just turned eighteen, and she's now out of the government system even though she was offered a place to stay by Miss Mae. She didn't want to take it because she thought that it was unfair.
Sample: Rae pulled up to the building that was on the print out. She wasn't sure what she should expect. Perhaps she should have expected screams. Well that's what she would hear wether she knew it or not. She cut the engine on her old beat up truck. Wasn't this some eighteenth birthday? Signing up for a governement experiment.
Rae walked in. She was greated promptly and she was explained what was going to happen. They were going to give her a drug and then they were going to monitor her. Whatever. The pay was good and she didn't have any other money. She changed into a hosiptal gown and they took her to one of the rooms. She lied down on the bed and they hooked her up onto various monitors. She sighed and winced when they injected her with the syrum. Nothing happened. Well it wasn't like Rae could say she was shocked. The government wasn't all that great at the moment doing things so this didn't really surprise her at all.
She soon drifted to sleep though and she had terrible nightmares. Everything was dark and she was in pain. Why was she in pain when it was a dream? It must have meant that it really wasn't a dream. She was awake but she was hearing all these thoughts that were in her head. It was terrible. She didn't know which ones were her owns and which weren't. She heard a loud scream and didn't even realize that it was hers. Things were flying around the room and she was knocked out unconcious. That was the easy part of the transformation. It would only get worse form there.
